The Ann Arbor MI PTDL is located in the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library (AAEL) in the Duderstadt Center at the University of Michigan. AAEL houses the Art & Design, Architecture & Urban Planning and Engineering Collection.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary as a PTDL on April 7, 2009 and we had the pleasure of having Martha Crockett-Sneed at our celebration. Attached are some pictures from the celebration. We celebrated this occasion with Government depository library’s sesquicentennial anniversary.
We received three patent models as gifts in May 2009. They are Patent No. 63,745: Steam Balanced Valve by E. & T. S. Parker; Patent No. 115,286: Improvement in Automatic Attachments for Keyed Musical Instruments by H. Downes; and Patent No. 212,426: Machine for Measuring and Cutting Wire by G. A. Baron. These were given in honor of Richard D. Grauer (BSEME 1957 Engineering)
As in previous years we continued our work with Engineering and Business students. We also worked with the technology transfer office at the University.
